AI for Media
and Entertainment

Double Bee is an AI lab specializing in the application of artificial intelligence across media and entertainment. We build, train, deploy, and integrate AI systems, and bring that same technical depth to films, branded content, and immersive experiences.

Our leadership brings together AI executives, filmmakers, and creative technologists, including a two-time Emmy Award winner and former Warner Bros. Discovery Vice President. The team has led technology and production initiatives within major media organizations, with past work spanning Netflix, Disney, Paramount, Discovery, Endemol Shine, and Bazelevs.

From custom models and integrated production pipelines to finished content, we connect AI research, engineering, commercial strategy, and storytelling under one roof.

Dr. Sam Khoze

Dr. Sam Khoze

Co-Founder and Chief AI Officer

Dr. Sam Khoze is an AI entrepreneur, scientist, and systems architect with twenty years of experience spanning AI research, infrastructure, robotics, and the application of AI in Hollywood production. His work connects the models and systems behind generative AI with the films, campaigns, and performers they make possible.

He was the first to cast and train an autonomous AI to perform in a Hollywood motion picture, a milestone covered by The New York Times. His short film Genesis, one of the earliest examples of AI-generated filmmaking, premiered at the Cannes 2024 AI Film Awards. He later returned to Cannes to announce his partnership with Higgsfield.

He led the AI behind Starburst’s “Different Every Time,” one of the first large-scale AI-generated commercial campaigns. His work includes collaborations with Tool of North America, DDB Chicago, and Critical Mass, and creative technology projects serving BBC, Cross Creek, Starbucks, Audi, Mercedes, LG, and Shutterstock. He has also developed and contributed to generative video tools, including DeepFuze, an open-source lip-sync system, and ComfyUI nodes for voice cloning, deepfake generation, and face swapping.

His creative practice draws on extensive experience building AI infrastructure. As founder and CEO of CGAI, he created ALEXIS Fusion, a frontier fusion model that coordinates specialist models through a single API and is designed to outperform leading frontier models. The initiative is supported by Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Stanford University.

Dr. Khoze also developed AI content detection and invisible watermarking technology acquired by Skreens, whose clients and partners include FOX One, MediaKind, and Amazon Web Services. His Compositional World Model research explores generative AI for 3D worlds, with applications across VFX pipelines, gaming, robotics, and foundational world models. This research helped underpin Microsoft’s multi-million-dollar investment in Global Objects.

In robotics, he worked with Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro at ATR and Osaka University, managing the humanoid robots Erica and Alter3, including Alter3’s autonomous conducting of the Dubai Philharmonic at Expo 2020 Dubai. With Dr. Firouz Naderi of NASA JPL, he co-developed multimodal robotic teleoperation systems. He also designed and developed social robots showcased at CES 2023.

At Double Bee AI, Dr. Khoze brings this experience to studios, brands, and production companies, combining the engineering expertise to build custom AI capabilities with the production judgment to translate them into compelling work on screen. He helps clients shape their AI strategy and guides projects from concept through final delivery, spanning fully AI-generated films and advertising campaigns.
